Barbara Zenz President/CEO
As an original founder of The Stephenz Group in 1981, Barbara has spearheaded the agency's vision, from overall management and strategic focus to business development and client advocacy. Barbara has established TSG as a key player in the high-technology industry by ensuring its integrated marketing approach positions the agency as a key partner in the success of its clients. She is an active member of the American Association of Advertising Agencies and its Ivory forum group of CEOs, the Greater San Jose Advertising Association and Silicon Valley Association of Advertising Agencies.
Fun Fact: Barbara is a political "junkie".
 
Stephanie Paulson Vice President/Creative Director
As a co-founder, Stephanie has set the standard of creative excellence for which the agency is renowned. In overseeing the creative and production departments of the agency, Stephanie is instrumental in ensuring that the end creative product meets all client standards including branding, messaging and content. Her expertise in developing highly successful campaigns has been recognized within the industry with over one hundred awards.
Fun Fact: Stephanie is an avid water skier and enjoys anything on or around the water.
 
James Morgado Vice President
James is an Executive leader at The Stephenz Group, responsible for the agency's web development team and business operations. James thrives on challenges and admits that the demands presented by his many and varied responsibilities at TSG make every day interesting and challenging. His extensive years of technical expertise are evidenced in several public websites including Epson POS, Neterion, Multigen and more.
Fun Fact: James is a relentless competitor; he plays golf, softball, soccer, hockey, and football (there’s even a set of crutches in the office for "those" Mondays).
 
Barbara Sater Vice President/Strategic Services
Barbara brings over 20 years of experience to her role of strategic planning and brand development for TSG clients. She has worked with Hewlett-Packard, Intermec, and Epson America in the development of strategic marketing plans, company and product positioning, messaging development and global brand rollouts. Barbara has a passion for creative and ensures that the client’s visual and verbal brand is effectively integrated across all marketing communications.
Fun Fact: Barbara has a secret life on Kauai.
 
Jan Knight Group Account Director
With in-depth knowledge of technology marketing, Jan helps clients establish the core strategic business foundation for all campaigns, media and marketing plans. She collaborates with agency teams to integrate all client activities and ensure the client's brand and business objectives are met. Jan has created and managed marketing programs for leading software, hardware, and technology companies including Epson America, Applied Materials, and JavaSoft.
Fun Fact: Jan’s next career will be on the FoodNetwork – she can cook!
 
Judie Jordan Business Development Manager
Judie heads up business development initiatives at the agency, dedicated to the continued growth and diversification of The Stephenz Group client base. She is a 15 year industry veteran working in various positions at Silicon Valley advertising agencies servicing high tech, semiconductor and business-to-business accounts. Judie’s stellar background, enthusiasm and entrepreneurial spirit make her a great fit for the agency.
Fun Fact: Judie is an expert at busting air on her snowboard.
 
Natalie Barreiro Senior Account Supervisor/Public Relations
Natalie has more than 12 years of experience working with B2B and B2C technology companies. She has orchestrated product launches and high-impact PR programs for both start-ups and large companies, including Apple, Toshiba, Claris and INVESTools Inc. Her breadth of expertise in PR strategy, planning and practices helps her clients build and sustain relationships with key customers, partners, industry analysts and press.
Fun Fact: Natalie is an award-winning photographer who enjoys subjects from nature to environmental portraits.
 
Carolyn Baker Account Director
Carolyn brings a unique combination of direct response and strategic e-marketing skills to TSG. She develops and executes marketing plans and projects that get results. Carolyn is an effective team leader and has led agency teams in developing integrated marketing plans, websites and e-marketing programs for CyberSource, Sun Microsystems, Polycom and Samsung.
Fun Fact: When Carolyn isn’t playing golf, she can be found with a cue in her hand. She’s a pool shark!
 
Scott Brendel Senior Account Manager
Scott brings over 9 years experience in developing and executing corporate, product, and community relations marketing programs to TSG. Scott's approach is a combination of strategic thinker with a practical "get it done" attitude. As the day-to-day project manager, he has a demonstrated ability to manage a high-volume of projects, and directs the internal teams to ensure all projects meet objectives, budgets and timelines.
Fun Fact: Scott formerly was a radio DJ and loves to write and play his own music.
 
Meitra Chahidi Media Supervisor
With over 5 years experience in the field of media, Meitra brings both agency and corporate experience to TSG. Meitra is a strong team member that is responsible for all aspects of media from planning to buying to booking, and has worked in several mediums including print, online and broadcast.
Fun Fact: Meitra's goal is to see the 7 natural wonders of the world in her lifetime.
 
Phillip Kim Associate Creative Director/Design
Phillip has over 15 years of senior design and brand experience for major high technology companies. He oversees the creative and production teams leading design development and ensuring all branding elements are maintained through final execution. Phillip’s experience in brand identity and integrated marketing communications has received numerous awards during his tenure at TSG.
Fun Fact: Phillip is an avid fly fisherman and snowboarder.
 
Bob Eminian Senior Marketing Consultant/Technology
Bob has over 20 years experiences as a corporate marketing executive and consultant. He has led strategic marketing, product management and marketing communications teams and successfully launched new products, services and companies. Bob works closely with TSG in the area of market research to help ensure messaging is relevant to the marketplace and target audience. His experience encompasses semiconductor, OEM electronics, e-commerce, and enterprise software industries.
Fun Fact: Bob is an expert on Armenian cooking.
